Welcome to the NewspapersForTheBlind audible introductory brochure. This is intended to help you learn about the mission, offerings and needs of the NewspapersForTheBlind
Organization, a Maryland not-for-profit entity. The mission for NewspapersForTheBlind is to bring newspaper quality news to the blind and hearing-impaired in a gentle,
comprehensible manner versus a world of radio and television fast-paced indecipherable sound bites. NewspapersForTheBlind.ORG will daily offer a 24 hour webcast of
streaming audio consisting of human-read principal articles from principal newspapers around the world. These audible articles will bring you the news that is important to you,
in the thoughful manner of the vocal written word. Individual articles may be selected and downloaded to your computer or MP3 device. NewspapersForTheBlind will
also offer the identical newspapercasts through an 800 telephone number that the un-computered can enjoy. Providing this valuable content to the blind and dual-impaired generates expenses,
and contributions and subscriptions are sought to meet these operating needs, so that the service may continue to bring thoughtful news and enjoyment to the many in need.
